This is a hands-free lock. It uses proximity sensing to unlock as you approach and automatically locks behind you. The mechanism is quiet and the action feels solid. You manage everything through the Yale Access app, sharing virtual keys and checking entry logs. It requires a separate Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge, sold separately, to enable remote access.

Installation is straightforward if your door and existing deadbolt are in good alignment. The unit is compact at 2.5 by 7.5 by 9.75 inches, but it does add noticeable bulk to the interior side of your door. Battery life is reliable, and the app clearly shows when it’s time for a swap.
