TP-Link Deco AXE5300 Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Mesh System (3-Pack)
A powerful tri-band Wi-Fi 6E mesh system that eliminates dead zones with dedicated 6GHz backhaul for seamless whole-home coverage.
The 6 GHz band is the big story here. TP-Link’s Deco AXE5300 opens that new wireless highway in your home, giving devices that support Wi-Fi 6E a clear lane with less interference from your neighbor’s router or your own microwave. This three-pack covers up to 5,500 square feet, which is enough for most larger homes or a busy office floor.
Setup takes about 10 minutes through the Deco app. The system automatically handles band steering, so your phone shifts between 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz without you noticing. Wired backhaul is supported if you can run Ethernet between units, but the tri-band wireless backhaul works well for most. We saw consistent speeds around 900 Mbps on the 6 GHz band in the same room as a node, dropping to about 400 Mbps two floors away.
The trade-off is coverage shape. Each node covers about 1,800 square feet in an open layout, but thick walls or concrete floors can reduce that significantly. You may need to experiment with placement. There is no USB port for sharing a printer or external drive. The app is functional but lacks advanced QoS controls. For a straightforward, high-speed mesh system that future-proofs your network for newer devices, this delivers.
