The AODI EM01 is an under-desk elliptical that does one thing well: it lets you pedal while seated without fuss. No assembly required, which is rare for home fitness gear. You pull it out of the box, slide it under your desk, and start moving. That simplicity is the whole point.

The machine offers two modes. Auto mode cycles through three preset programs (P1, P2, P3) that vary resistance automatically. Manual mode gives you five speed levels, ranging from a slow 1.5 km/h to a brisk 5.7 km/h. You can pedal forward or backward to shift which muscles you engage. The LCD display tracks time, distance, speed, and calories. A remote control lets you adjust settings without bending over.

The biggest limitation is resistance. There are only two levels, so this is not a machine for serious cardio or leg workouts. It is best for light movement during long work hours. The pedals feel smooth but offer minimal challenge. If you want to burn calories while answering emails, this works. If you want to build endurance or break a sweat, look elsewhere. Build quality feels adequate for the price, but the plastic components won’t survive heavy daily use.
