DREAME’s X40 Ultra tackles a problem most robot vacuums ignore: the final inch along your baseboards and under furniture legs. A liftable side brush extends outward to sweep debris from those tight corners, then retracts when it’s not needed. The main brush and mop lift independently too, so the robot won’t drag a wet pad across your living room rug.

At 12,000Pa of suction, this thing pulls embedded dust from medium-pile carpets without hesitation. The self-cleaning mop system uses 158°F water to wash the pads on the washboard, then air-dries them. It refills its own water tank and empties dust into the base station for up to 75 days of hands-off operation. The OmniDirt Detection system identifies heavy-traffic zones and triggers a second pass automatically.

There’s a learning curve with the app for multi-floor mapping and no-go zones, but the core cleaning logic works well out of the box.
