Its integrated touchless dustpan means you can sweep debris directly into the vacuum without ever touching a pile. The system works in two distinct modes. Floor mode uses an infrared sensor to activate suction automatically when you sweep debris over its intake, or you can tap the area with your broom. For everything else, you switch to tool mode and use the hose and attachments. The 20KPa suction is substantial for a 1500W unit, easily pulling up pet hair and embedded dirt from area rugs. The 7-liter dust capacity is a practical advantage, reducing how often you need to empty it.

You do trade some mobility for this functionality, as it’s a corded design. Managing the power cord and the canister itself requires a bit more forethought than a stick vacuum.
