Prairie View Industries TH1032 10x32 Inch Threshold Ramp
A solid, low-profile aluminum threshold ramp offering a smooth, safe transition for wheelchairs and scooters up to 32 inches wide.
Prairie View Industries has been making accessibility hardware for years, and the TH1032 threshold ramp is a straightforward solution for a narrow problem. It handles door thresholds between half an inch and three-quarters of an inch high. That small range matters because most standard doorways fall right in that zone, and a cheap rubber wedge won’t hold up to daily wheelchair or walker traffic.
The ramp is 32 inches wide and 10 inches deep, which gives enough surface for most standard door widths without sticking out too far into a hallway. It’s made of aluminum with anti-slip traction tape bonded to the surface. The tape stays grippy even when wet, and the aluminum keeps the whole thing light enough to reposition if needed. Pre-drilled holes in the top corners let you screw it directly into the threshold, and the included hardware makes that a five-minute job.
There’s no adjustable height here. You get exactly one inch of ramp height for thresholds up to 3/4 inch. That’s fine for most residential doors but won’t work for taller transitions like sliding glass door tracks. The traction tape will eventually wear down with heavy use, but replacement strips are cheap and easy to find. For a permanent fix on a standard doorway, this does exactly what it should without fuss.
