In practice, the Era 300 creates a convincing bubble of audio. Voices in a movie scene feel anchored to the screen, while ambient sounds like rain or traffic spread around the room. Music mixed in Atmos, like newer tracks from Billie Eilish or Radiohead, gains a sense of depth. Instruments feel separated in space rather than stacked in a flat line. You get the same clarity for stereo content, but the spatial effect is the main draw. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm line-in for connecting a turntable or other source. The input voltage is 240V, so it works with standard outlets in most regions.

Pairing two Era 300s with a Sonos Arc or Beam (Gen 2) unlocks the full home theater Atmos experience. That setup is expensive, but the single speaker still delivers a noticeable upgrade over a basic soundbar. The tabletop mount is included, and the polycarbonate shell feels sturdy. One honest limitation: the spatial effect is heavily dependent on your room layout and ceiling height. Low ceilings or cluttered spaces can diminish the upward-firing driver’s impact. For most living rooms, though, the Era 300 delivers a genuinely different way to hear your music.
