In real use, this thing handles the chaos of 30 or 40 devices competing for bandwidth without breaking a sweat. The simultaneous dual-band design keeps older 2.4 GHz gadgets from dragging down your 5 GHz traffic. You’ll need 802.3at PoE+ to power it, so plan your switch or injector accordingly. At 8.66 inches square and just under two inches thick, it mounts flush on a ceiling or wall and blends into most commercial interiors.

There’s one thing to note: this is not a plug-and-play consumer router. You’ll need the UniFi controller software (free) to set it up and manage it. That’s fine for IT teams, but if you’re expecting a smartphone app that walks you through setup in five minutes, look elsewhere.
