CYCPLUS DC1 Mini Pedal Exerciser with Magnetic Resistance
Compact magnetic pedal exerciser offering whisper-quiet, adjustable resistance for effortless under-desk cardio.
CYCPLUS built the DC1 Mini Pedal Exerciser around an unusual idea: let the pedaling itself generate the resistance. There are no cords and no battery to charge. The 160W brushless motor works like a small generator, turning your effort into smooth, stable resistance that doesn’t slip or stutter. It’s a genuinely eco-friendly approach to under-desk fitness, and it means the machine is always ready to go.
The DC1 offers two ways to train. Manual mode gives you a standard 10-level magnetic resistance adjustment, which is fine for straightforward pedaling. The more interesting option is ERG Mode, which automatically adjusts resistance between 30W and 100W based on your cadence. Pedal faster and the load increases. Slow down and it eases off. This keeps your effort consistent, making it useful for targeted cardio or rehab work where maintaining a specific intensity matters. The large LED screen tracks eight real-time metrics, including distance, speed, and calories.
One limitation to note: the self-powered design means there’s no external power input at all. If you stop pedaling, the screen goes dark and the resistance disappears. That’s fine for continuous sessions, but it won’t hold settings between uses. For a compact, cordless unit meant for desks or small spaces, the trade-off is reasonable. It’s lightweight and easy to move, and the magnetic resistance is genuinely quiet during use.
