ARPHA’s smart lock uses the unique vein pattern inside your palm as a key. This is a different approach from fingerprint or facial recognition. It means the scanner works reliably even with wet hands, minor cuts, or dry skin. The authentication happens in under a second.

You simply hold your palm a few inches from the reader. There’s no need to physically touch a surface, which feels both hygienic and futuristic. The built-in Wi-Fi module is the real utility, letting you grant or revoke access from anywhere through the app. You can create virtual keys for guests or service people without needing a physical keypad code or spare key. The lock itself is a compact deadbolt made from zinc alloy.

This system is ideal for a high-traffic family entrance or a rental property. Just note that it requires a stable home Wi-Fi network for full remote functionality. The palm recognition is highly accurate, but you should still register a backup entry method, like the included key fob, for peace of mind.
