roborock Saros Z70 Robot Vacuum and Mop, OmniGrip Arm, AI-Powered, 22,000Pa Suction, 3.14’’ Ultra Slim, FlexiArm Riser Technology, AdaptiLift Chassis, Obstacle Avoidance, Auto Mop Washing & Drying Saros Z70 Black
The world's first robot vacuum with an OmniGrip Arm for deep furniture cleaning.
Roborock’s Saros Z70 is a robot vacuum with a mechanical arm. The OmniGrip arm is a five-axis appendage that can pick up objects up to 300 grams—socks, tissues, small toys—and move them out of the way or into a designated spot. It uses dual cameras, LED lighting, and a weight sensor to avoid crushing anything. In practice, this means the vacuum can clear a stray sock from the hallway without you having to pre-clean the floor. It’s a practical step toward a truly autonomous cleaning cycle.
The rest of the machine is equally capable. Suction hits 22,000Pa, which is enough for deep carpet cleaning and stubborn debris. The chassis is only 3.14 inches tall, so it slides under most furniture. The FlexiArm Riser side brush and mop extend to reach edges and corners, and the AdaptiLift chassis lifts the mops by 22mm when transitioning to carpet. The dock handles hot water mop washing, warm air drying, and automatic dust emptying. The StarSight 2.0 system and VertiBeam lateral obstacle avoidance keep it from bumping into furniture or falling down stairs.
The main trade-off is the arm’s weight limit. At 300g, it can handle lightweight clutter but not shoes or larger objects. You’ll still need to pick up heavier items before a run. The mapping and scheduling via the app are robust, and the “Hello Rocky” voice assistant works for basic commands. For anyone tired of tidying up before the robot cleans, the Z70 offers a genuine reduction in daily friction.
