It’s a compact, wireless puck you place on the floor near a water heater, under a sink, or by a washing machine. When its two bottom contacts detect conductive moisture, it instantly sends an alert to your Zigbee hub. You’ll get a notification on your phone, and it can trigger other smart devices—like shutting off a smart water valve. The included CR2477 battery is rated to last up to five years, so you can install it and largely forget it.

Just know this model doesn’t include a remote detection cable. It only monitors for water directly underneath its base. That makes it perfect for specific spot-check locations, but you’ll need a different sensor for monitoring a longer perimeter, like across a basement floor.
