DREAME L40s Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo with Self-Emptying Station
The ultimate hands-off clean with a self-emptying station that handles both dust and dirty mop water.
DREAME has been quietly building some of the most capable robot vacuums on the market, and the L40s Ultra AE is their latest flagship. The headline number here is 19,000Pa of suction. That’s enough to pull deeply embedded hair out of low-pile carpets and swallow scattered pet food in a single pass. But the real differentiator is how the station handles the messy parts you’d rather ignore.
The self-emptying dust box is standard at this price, but the mop washing system is what sets this apart. The station uses a 167°F self-cleaning washboard to scrub the mop pads after each cleaning cycle, then blows hot air to dry them. That means no musty smell coming from the dock after a few days. The DuoScrub mopping system applies downward pressure while oscillating, which handles dried-on coffee spills better than most drag-and-wipe competitors. The mop pads also lift 10.5mm when it detects carpet, so your rugs stay dry.
The TriCut brush is a thoughtful update for homes with long hair or pets. It uses a combination of bristles and rubber fins to reduce tangling, and it’s easier to clean than traditional roller brushes. Obstacle avoidance is handled by 3DAdapt sensors, which reliably navigates around shoes and charging cables in my testing. One limitation: the 200ml cleaning solution bottle is small, so you’ll be refilling it every few weeks with regular mopping. But for a vacuum that handles both deep cleaning and daily maintenance without much thought, the L40s Ultra is a strong pick.
