roborock Saros 10R Robot Vacuum and Mop with Self-Emptying
Self-emptying robot vacuum and mop that handles both jobs hands-free.
Roborock has long been a leader in the robot vacuum space, and the Saros 10R represents a smart evolution of the formula. Its headline feature is the 3.14-inch ultra-slim profile, which ditches the traditional raised laser turret for the StarSight Autonomous System 2.0. This means it slides under low couches and bed frames that would stop most other bots cold. It’s a practical redesign that solves a real friction point in daily cleaning.
Performance is solid across the board. The 22,000 Pa suction handles daily dust and debris on hard floors without issue, and the zero-tangling brush lives up to its name—no more cutting hair off the roller. The FlexiArm Riser Technology is the real standout for mixed flooring. The mop arm swings out to scrub edges and corners, then lifts and retracts when it senses carpet, so you don’t get a wet rug. The self-emptying dock also includes hot air drying for the mop pad, which prevents that musty smell common in other systems.
There’s one honest limitation to consider. The lack of a lidar tower means the Saros 10R relies on a combination of RGB cameras and structured light for navigation. In my testing, it works well in well-lit rooms, but performance can degrade in very dark spaces or with low-contrast flooring. If your home has a lot of dark rugs or dim corners, you may see occasional stumbles. For most homes with consistent lighting, though, this is a capable, low-maintenance cleaner that fits where others can’t.
